Lois' work is about the natural. At it's heart is the essence of mood and weight. It captures the profoundness of the moment. As a resident of the shore, she is inspired by the light and cloudscapes that vary day by day.
Tom's work is about the interaction of compositional elements, whether natural or industrial. He works with his own technique of extracting unseen color through a multistep contrast process. Even though he works digitally, he does not add or re-color his images, only he draws out what is unseen.
